To the green thumbs out there...

I'm curious, does anyone know what these types of flowers are? I have them, but I forget what type they are, if I ever knew. I like them both, but I never know what to call them. Any clues?

They're mallow plants.

And I want some, except that everyone in my damned neighborhood has them! They're very much "in" this year.

Whee! Thanks a ton. Doing a bit of searching around to make sure, I found that the rose mallow (which the big pink ones looked like) are a type of hibiscus, which rings all sorts of bells - I'm pretty sure that's the name I bought them under a year or two (or three, gah, I lose track) ago, and forgot. The smaller blue ones aren't exactly the same, but now that I'm remembering back and looking around the same sites, I'm pretty sure they're rose of sharon, another type of hibiscus.

Thanks again!
