Mmmmmm, it's amazing how nice it feels to get a near-solid 9 hours of sleep, after much sleep deprevationousness.

Of course, as I was still a bit keyed up (and took a "nap" for a couple hours yesterday leaking into evening), I didn't get to sleep til 7am or so, which means my 9 hours lasted until 4 this afternoon. But ask me if I care. Sleep cycle will be, of course, screwed... but hey, I got sleep. Bugger off.

The sad thing is, I still feel like I could curl up and drop back off to sleep.

Well, I do want to try to keep my sleep cycle from getting too much worse, so I'll probably try to hold off til tonight. Just spending the day (and probably a few more) mostly lying down, reading and stuff, instead.

Not a bad idea, but if the eyelids get heavy while reading, I wouldn't resist it.

I've learned to give in when my body asks for more sleep after sustained sleep deprivation. Gets me back on schedule faster.
