More BPAL. Already.

Blah, I posted the previous entry intending to wait and see any comments, but then once it was all on my brain, I found myself putting in the order before I forgot about it and the time passed and the Halloween stuff was no longer available. *sigh* So... weak....

I ordered the two Halloween scents I wanted - the "Samhain" and "Sugar Skull." I also put in an order for the next six Imps, but didn't order any of the scents I've tried yet. I still need to decide which, if any, I want to use in the long run. Anyhow, the imps I ordered to try:

From Excolo:

BARON SAMEDI
A notorious voodoo priest, who eventually rose to become one of the funereal Guédés, alongside Baron Cimitère and Baron La Croix. He is a Guardian of the Crossroads: the pathways between our world and the realm of the spirits. As a Master of the Graveyard, he ensures that burial rites are performed with skill, and he helps ferry souls to the dark realm. In his honor, we have created this scent: our spin on traditional Bay Rum.

From Diabolus:

BLACK PHOENIX
Our signature oil. A dark, languid scent. Promotes hedonistic tendencies and extreme self-love. You won't stop kissing mirrors for a month.

From Love Potions:

KABUKI
Compelling, complex, and utterly enigmatic: a luxuriant, exotic blend of cherry, red musk, and star anise.

SNAKE OIL
By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.

And from Sin & Salvation:

ENVY
Green herbs slithering through mint, lime and lavender.

SEA OF GLASS
Upon the Sea of Glass, glowing with the perfection of spiritual union and the radiance of true wisdom, rests the throne of God. A scent of inimitable purity, crystalline grace, and limitless light.

Still want to try "Dirty" from Sin and Salvation, plus I've had both "Florence" and "Thalia" suggested as possibilities I might like, and I now want to try "Alice" after seeing it described elsewhere as "it was so sweet I felt like I was being bludgeoned to death by a piece of cake." How can you resist that?

If you end up liking Snake Oil, I'm doomed. I've been wanting to try that one for basically forever, but I never actually order it. Apparently it is one of those where if you don't like it when it arrives, stick it somewhere and give it a few months to age.

It didn't really jump out of the page at me before, but I went over their forums briefly, and saw a lot of good hype about it, and going back the description looked interesting, so.... figured I'd give it a whirl.
