Well then...

Finished the book. Now have a bit of a headache from concentrating too long on the pages, I suspect, when I was already feeling kinda "bleh" today. But I finished it without getting spoiled by the asshats! *celebrates*

So in return, I won't spoil either. I'll just say I have my strong suspicions about... er... the one main dangling plot thread that I can think of from the book.

I liked it, but as I said in my PM which you probably won't get till tomorrow since it's so late, it takes something really bad for me to dislike it. (I was referring to the movie I was talking about, but it works for books too)

Anything that takes me away from boring reality is fine by me.

Maybe even moreso with books, since I usually have to have at least one thing I'm reading actively. Just finished rereading Timeline yesterday. (Which, if I were a more critical person, I would think is a really bad movie, but as long as I don't continually compare it to the book and let it stand alone, it's okay. Plus I think the guy who played Marek is pretty hot. >.> Though I think he looked better in the 2nd Tomb Raider movie. ((another thing I should probably hate)) I think it's the Scottish accent *_* )

I'm just not a critic, I guess. >.>a

*rereads* hm, that's kind of incoherent. *goes to bed*

Heh, haven't seen or read Timeline either. Seen, I guess is no shock, since I'm pretty bad with keeping up-to-date on movies. ^^;; I am a bit more of a reader, although I suppose lately I've been doing re-reads, or just reading manga, more than picking up a bunch of new novels. I should probably change that.

And yeah, as I said elsewhere, I'm not really sure totally if I liked the book or not. I think I did, but I'm still trying to absorb it. It definitely wasn't quite what I expected. o_O

(Should also go to bed... trying to stay awake to watch Inu Yasha, since I forgot the earlier showing)

It's definitely a good book, the movie is kind of iffy if you've read the book and are one of those people who can't keep from comparing it to the book. They took out a lot and changed a lot of stuff, but I still think it came out a decent movie on its own.

I read some stuff from others with more analytical minds than I had last night, who had a much more interesting take on what actually happened during the final few chapters of OH SHIT (OH SHIT used to protect anonymity of what shit happened).

Mmm, I'd definitely like to join in a discussion somewhere. *twitch*

Don't want to totally spoil people, though

Not when so many people have done it so well already.

I've read through bits here and there, but few places really scream COME CHAT WITH ME to me. Have considered opening a flocked LJ post that clearly proclaims that spoilery things will be discussed.
