Level 5 (so far) female Bosmer, reporting in!

And taking a break after about the past five or ten minutes of play have seen me one-shotted, twice. Must be more careful what I wander into/attack....

I'm a bit all over the place with skills, though! I mean, not *all* over the place, since I'm restricting myself to one weapon type so far (one-handed), and have only been using a few types of spells so far (Destruction being by far the most common, followed by Restoration, although I want to get into Conjuration and maybe some others)... but yeah, been doing some sneaking and lockpicking, some talky-type stuffs, and various craftiness...

And I notice one of the achievements is for you to get married, so that looks... promising? Although more so if the characters were, in general, a bit more attractive. (At least they're not as hideous as in Fable 3...)

They freaked me out at first and then I sort of adapted them in my mind as living woodcut characters and that helped a bit.

You're damn right, though. The first generic Dunmer male you're shown in creation made me rear back and go "AHH GREY ALIENS ARE IN THIS GAME AAAH WTF AHHH."

Oh yeah, those are some ugly-assed elves. *sob* I mean, I'm not a fan of the Dragon Age 2 elves either, but at least some of them could still end up fairly pretty (ie, Fenris.) But yeah.

Then again, when "dirt" is one of the limited number of categories of things to mess around with in crafting your face, you gotta figure they're not emphasizing The Pretty with these characters.

I actually approve of this; different races look really different, instead of slightly-modified humans.

I found M'aiq The Liar!

I'm so glad he's back.
