Greywalker by Kat Richardson (an urban supernatural book)
Lucifer volume 1 by Mike Carey et al (A graphic novel, albeit another DC one.)
A different graphic novel
The Jungle Book or Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling
Another general book
Some previous suggestions that I didn't add to the poll for whatever reason (maybe no interest expressed at the time? I dunno) were:
The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell or Bambi by Felix Saulten (I'd lean toward the latter, which is less twee, honestly, despite having brought up both of them.)
Heidi by Johanna Spyri
Another Agatha Christie novel
Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, which might be fitting as she passed away recently.
Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH/Secret of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien
Some children's book-flavored thing.
In the graphic novels vein: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Astro City, Queen and Country, Bone, and some unnamed Marvel book have all been thrown about.
A lot of these haven't had any discussion one way or another, so I'm really curious what people might have to say about them yay or nay. Unfortunately I'm behind on posting this yet again, so there probably won't be as much time for discussion this month. But if anyone's particular interested in some of them speak up, and I'll try to get a poll up in a couple days and pick one really damn soon, so books can be boughten.
