Yeah, UPS doesn't usually deliver stuff here until like 4-5 :(

Should have gone with Steam, but I guess I'm too much of an Amazon whore ;)

Not...literally an "Amazon whore".... you know what I mean.

Hah, and I was just trying to choose a smart-assed comment...

But yeah, same here, plus I played the first one on the 360 and want to do the sequel on the same.

For me though it's the other way around... I usually get it through UPS, which tends to deliver to me early in the day (before noon), but for really rushed stuff like this they send it Fex Ex, which takes its good sweet precious time. Grrr.

Ours hasn't arrived yet either. Not that it really matters; I still haven't started the playthrough of Origins that I intend to import into DA2, and doubt I'll have time for more than an hour here or there to play videogames any time in the next six or eight months anyway.

I suppose I REALLY should decide if I want to pay full price (and get the Free Swag, available only today!) or not

Whoops, I waited, like, three hours too long, and now the swag is gone.

With no free swag, I'm not paying full price! Steam, notify me when this game goes on sale!

(I love Steam. Steam is frend)

I've got it near the top of my Steam wishlist - I have DA:O on Steam, and prefer getting my games there, unless there's a reason to get a physical copy (like a limited edition).

I'd buy it now, but I went over my game budget with Bulletstorm, only to have major issues which made the game unplayable for the first week, and I want to make sure there's no launch issues with DA2. I'm pretty much making that my new policy for any game that's a console port, no matter if it was designed for PC first or console first. Lately companies haven't bothered testing properly on PC, thinking that all they need to do is throw a patch our way every so often, and have focused all their quality control on console...

*guesses* Dragon Age 2?
Mar. 8th, 2011 11:43 pm (UTC)
Well, of course!

Are you planning on playing a mage, rogue, or warrior?

I am playing a rogue first, since I wanted to have the open-chests ability no matter who was in my early party, and since they were unexpectedly neat in the first game.
