If you can come up with an urban supernatural which would be worth discussing for a month, I'm willing to reconsider, but IMO the genre as a whole is way too pop-corny for it.

I read a book last spring about a magical tattoo artist in Atlanta who has to deal with vampires and an ex-Nazi werewolf.

Okay, so that's not really a recommendation. I thought the book was cheesy but fun, unlike the other book which took itself so seriously in its vampire-politics that I couldn't read it after the first chapter. (These were two free advance copies of books via LibraryThing.)
