Parasha: Book Discussion

Quick question: Would y'all rather discuss them all in one post again, or break them up into categories (such as novels, short stories, graphic novels) to make the discussions more numerous, but more manageable in themselves?

So, on a podcast I was listening to, someone mentioned that there's a group out there that plays old games and then talks about them. They do it in segments (up to this milestone/plot point), like we do with books. That totally appeals to me, except I'd have to imagine it takes much more time than just reading. So, that seems like a no for me, but I wanted to mention it anyway.

Yup, videogames. But yeah, I'm in the same boat you're in. I *would* be interested in playing "Planescape: Torment", since I've heard so much about it, but it'd a standard RPG, so I'm sure it takes dozens of hours.

(I just started Bioshock, but that's because it's supposed to be Much Shorter.)

Yeah, I've toyed with the idea when it's brought up, but the thought of how long it'd take is a bit offputting... along with the thought of trying to run two things like that at once. If someone else ran it I might be more into giving something like that a go, but I imagine it'd be at a glacial pace.

Still, could be interesting.

(And Planescape: Torment is definitely worth a play, if you can find a copy, and get it to run... not sure how it runs on the newer OS's.)
