I was walking in the park one day...

So, walking in the park is lovely, but a bit tiring when you're not used to this whole "exercise" idea. I should probably look further into this concept at some point.

But it's even nicer with good company!

Now I'm just thinking I should probably start seeing if I can take the dog up there for a walk now and again, since she could probably use the exercise even more than I can. Except I'd better make sure I have a damn secure harness for her first, given the number of squirrels and birds in the park, and her usual reaction to furred and feathered critters. (That, and make sure my arms are feeling secure in their sockets.)

Jack freaks right the hell out at the park, and will merrily take me for a drag.

We've decided that's no good, and are working with him using a Gentle Leader. My arms are grateful for it.

Hrm, dunno if I should go that route or not. this mutt definitely loves to chase, but she's also small enough (around 20 pounds maybe, and probably more of that is fat than is healthy) that in theory, with a good harness it should be manageable. I think? (Although granted she is a strong little thing for her size.)
