Parasha: Frankenstein March 26th reading

Oh, Victor Victor. And now we see what your idiocy has brought us to.

And it looks like prince_corwin somewhat had it pegged (although I realize it wasn't exactly a prediction), and Victor's father dies of grief/shock. And we're not told what happens to his brother, although since he mentions that he lost all of his friends/support whatever, are we to assume that he also died somehow?

And of course Victor has the vapors again (thanks whoever mentioned that, I totally can't stop thinking of him as a Southern Belle swooning on a fainting couch, now), and then finally, finally talks to a magistrate about his story. Because revenge is so much more important than saving the people important to him, y'all! Although it's somewhat moot since the magistrate doesn't really believe him, but whatevs.

Also, I totally expected him to be accused of his wife's murder, given the predisposition of people to drop dead in his vicinity, and the fact that he was supposedly alone with her and all, but no!

Re: ssc
I take joy where I can. =)

It *does* crack me up that the Creature is *so* much more eloquent than that. This isn't Mel Brooks's monster!
