Lots of things connecting this chapter with what we've already seen and what's still to come - mentions of war, and Hiroshima, the missing writer, and of course Ozymandias.

Going back through the story, I'm realizing how well he's worked into it - he never really takes a big role throughout, so that we don't really have a chance to get into his mind or perhaps predict what's going to happen. But at the same way, he's woven into the entire story in smaller ways, such as his appearance on the TV here, so that we never forget about him and he doesn't seem to come out of left field at the end.

Anyhow, I think that's all the spoilerish stuff I have to talk about. But feel free to add more, as always.

Veidt really is everywhere, you're right. Even down to the "V" t-shirt on a kid they rescued from the burning building.

The Hiroshima figures keep repeating, too. Y'know, these 25 years later, it's a quiet relief not to see nuclear war around every corner.
