Hey takhisis (and other Persona 3 fans)...

If you didn't catch it, Persona 4 is out now. Already, after a huge gap between 2 and 3. Yeesh. And it's also for the PS2.

I haven't actually started it yet, but it looks like a lot of the systems (school, social links, etc.) are still in place from P3. I dunno yet how much they've been changed. Looks like some things are changed/added though. It should be... interesting. *Flexes fingers*

Now if only my PS2 wasn't being a little bitch and causing me delays, I'd be playing it. :p

I got it for Christmas. Yay, 4 hour intro sequences!

The social systems haven't undergone a lot of change, they have become... MORE SO. The social links themselves are still critically useful, but their placement in the schedule is a lot more flexible. Dungeon crawling is now done in the afternoon. Stats are altered in different ways at different times and are also hugely flexible - the weather makes a major difference in all these things. You will also have a part time job. And can make your own lunch. And. And. And.

I went out and got the strategy guide. :P

Heh, yeah, you're one of the "others" I was thinking of, but I figured you'd know about it already so didn't worry as much about catching your specific attention. ;)

And you will understand as I whine: My husband did something to the damn TV hookups and I can't get the PS2's output to show up! Argh!

Hehe, see my comment above as well. Apparently we're not allowed to enjoy the Persona 4 juicy goodness! Feh!

One of the things people seem to really like is the option to control your teammates directly, instead of letting them do their own thing. I kind of liked the half-right, half-wrong AI in P3, it made them feel a bit more natural, but I'm sure I'll take advantage of this too.

(My copy's in the mail.)
