For the Movie Lovers...

If anyone's interested, Netflix is doing another one of its customer-grabbing promotion thingies, sending out emails to its customers (or at least, I got one) something to forward to any interested friends and family, so they can click to redeem the offer to receive a free month of Netflix to try out the service. Which is a whole two weeks more than their regular offer, ooo, aaaah. But still, I like the service myself, so if you've been thinking about trying it out and wouldn't mind an extra two weeks, wing me your addy.

(Also, when did they start the deal of giving you hours of movies "to watch now" on your account? I totally just noticed that today... may go watch Sense and Sensibility later...)

No problem, I wondered if I were the only inattentive one. ;)

Hmm, well, it's certainly not near as big as their DVD selection, but I did happily go and watch Sense and Sensibility just now, and they have some other interesting stuff like Amadeus. I figure probably they won't have much really current stuff, but a good bit of older-but-good stuff.

And considering that it's basically free (if you're already paying for the service anyhow) instant gratification, woohoo!

The only really annoying thing is the demands so far to run it. You need Internet Exploder... er...Explorer 6.0 or higher, and (less annoyingly) Windows XP or Vista. My laptop actually had Explorer 6.something that came with it, so I was good to go there, but it may be annoying for others.

Wishing I had time to watch more movies - and people with whom to watch them!

Bah, people are overrated!

Usually, but there's a tiny group who aren't.
